Water billing

Separate water billing is used at Koas locations: Taitoniekantie, Tourula.

In these locations, we invoice the use of water in advance. Your rent bill includes a monthly advance water fee based on the number of people living in your apartment (€/person).

The water fee is regularly equalized according to the water used. You will receive a balance invoice. If your water consumption during the billing period is lower than the advance payment, the difference will be returned to you. On the other hand, if your water consumption exceeds the advance payment, the additional amount will be billed accordingly.

Get to know ways to save water and your own consumption habits:

• A short shower saves water and also saves money and energy spent on heating the water.
• Remember to turn off the faucet when soaping up during the shower.
• Don’t run the water unnecessarily. Turn off the faucet when you brush your teeth or soap your hands.
• Only use the washing machine and dishwasher when they are full. Dishwashers are more water-saving than hand washing. Washing dishes by hand, please fill the sink with water instead of washing under running water.

The legislation on renting apartments requires that the landlord invoices water based on consumption for properties that were built with a building permit issued after November 13, 2020.
